Treasurer Report – Discussed June and July financials. Medical expenses and payroll were the largest expenses but soon this will decrease as there are less dogs and employees.

Mark moved to approve the financials and Sherrie seconded the motion. Approved

 

Meeting Minutes June minutes were reviewed and approved. No July minutes as meeting was cancelled.

Sherrie moved to approve the minutes and Mark seconded the motion. 

 

Dog Status

14 dogs in the program including 9 permanent fosters. Pinky is in foster with intent, Marley will go to same home next Tuesday, Hefner will be adopted next month. Toby (saluki/grey mix) is still available. Dutch was returned as he was not thriving in his home and is being medically monitored.

Currently 1 applications and 24 adoptions year to date (mostly from prior adopters).

 

Fundraising Update

We will try and do bi-monthly Facebook mini auctions and will determine at a later time whether there will be a Membership Party or a Garage Sale outside The Noble Center.

The Robbie Dog Costume will be donated to Galatas Elementary as their mascot is a greyhound.

 

Newsletter

We will do an appreciation article on all the cats and small dogs that help test all of our greyhounds throughout all the years. As Constant Contact contract will expire soon, Sherrie will find out if we can pay for it quarterly or other options.

 

Covid Rules

We will continue to restrict the public into The Noble Center and continue to monitor the situation. Announcements will be published on Facebook, the website and on the monthly newsletter.
