Hi, my name is Sandy. I am a strong and beautiful red fawn specimen of a female houndie. I love to go for walks and I am an expert at smoozing humans. Once I get the hang of this being a pet, I will be an easy going and friendly companion. I like to patrol my foster home yard and take care of them pesky varmints. When it comes to the humans, I am a very social butterfly! Friendly and loves meeting new people and some other dogs. As all this is so new to me, I am a bit of a puller on walks but that may be just because I am excited to be out and about. I seem to loosen up once walking for a bit. I get excited when I see another dog behind a fence but don't lunge at them. If they talk trash I will give the trash talk right back. These dogs here have a funny accent! I am living with my new friends, a lurcher, Wendy and a 35lb mega mutt Duchess. I can't wait for my new family, and am willing to interview other house dogs. Foster Mom said I am stuck to her like a "Velcro hound" and that I love being around humans.
I absolutely love toys, especially squeaky ones. I am learning all about the rules of my foster home. This is new to me but I am a quick study in house training and sharing. Routine is my strength. My foster mom is teaching me to give her a clue when my needs happen.
After my walkies I am totally content to lounge and sleep. I even roached, only day 2 off the airplane from Australia. I allowed my foster mom to brush me and clean my ears. She said I was a “Charmer”, that’s me!!
