Poppy (Superior Popover) is a young blank slate eagerly learning about being a pet. He is a happy, friendly greyhound that thrives on attention and affection. He is definitely going to be attached to his people, as shown by his helicopter tail when his foster parents come home. He is a little on the shy side when out walking in the big, wide world. This boy is learning fast about manners, scary noises, and those strange critters he encounters. His new parent(s) will need to be sensitive about him being so young and pay extra attention as he adjusts to everything with patience and guidance.
Poppy will go voluntarily into his crate and considers it his safe space for resting throughout the day. He is learning to allow his manicurist to do his pawdicures. His foster parents are introducing him to many things he will be exposed to as a pet in his own home like stairs, windows, house manners, leave it and trading up when he makes a mistake. He enjoys exploring in the back yard and showing off his speed by doing zooms. Poppy is accepting appointments and interviewing for his new family!
