Meet Angel (Superior Angelia), a gorgeous red fawn beauty. Angel decided to skip the racing career entirely and head straight into the good life of retirement! This diminutive (61 lbs) sweet young lady is already turning heads with her stunning looks and loving personality. Angel gives hugs and kisses and does a happy dance when her people arrive from any absence (no matter how short)!
At two years old, Angel is a blank slate, ready to soak up all the love, training, and adventures her future family has to offer. She can be a bit shy at first, but as she gets used to her surroundings she showcases her playful and affectionate side and demonstrates how much she wants to be your best friend. She is an enthusiastic eater and loves food and treats of all kind, but she is respectful at family dinner time and finds a close quiet place to lay and wait for her people to finish their meal. Angel can be a bit of a diva and if she is not going to be an only dog she will do best in a house with a well established pack order or firm leadership. She thrives where the routines are consistent and rules are clear. Angel is comfortable with correction and will willingly release any items, toys or food to her people without complaint or signs of aggression.
Angel is highly intelligent, has big feelings and changes make her anxious so during her adjustment she will need patience and guidance as she establishes a regular routine and potty schedule. Separation from her people is stressful so deliberate attention to alone training and schedule consistency will be of high priority to her forever home. She is still just a puppy and demonstrates boundless energy and enthusiasm. Angel loves all toys and is particularly fond of ones that squeak. Angel does have a very high prey drive and on her walks she is constantly scanning the surface and canopy for signs of feline or squirrel invaders and will lunge in defense of her pack if any threat is observed nearby.
