Bo decided racing wasn’t his path and came straight from the farm to begin his search for a forever home. He has been learning how to relax and enjoy the comforts of home—soft beds, predictable routines, and all the affection he can soak up. He hasn’t quite figured out toys yet, but he’s curious about everything.
Bo warms up at his own pace, but once he feels comfortable, he becomes a loyal, steady companion who sticks by your side. As his confidence grows, so does his personality—tail wags, enthusiasm for walks, mealtimes, exploring the yard, and joining in on whatever you’re doing. He also enjoys car rides.
Bo is adjusting to home life after coming from a farm, and he’s learning good habits every day with gentle, consistent direction. He is most at ease with adults and prefers a calmer environment; busy or noisy situations can make him unsure. Sudden or loud sounds may startle him, and on walks he may want to head back home if something spooks him. A calm, reassuring voice from his foster family helps him settle quickly. He’s naturally curious, quietly observant, and always ready to lean in for affection. Every day he discovers something new about life in a home, and he’s blossoming beautifully.
Bo is very relaxed around the resident dogs (greyhounds and a lab). He sometimes needs a little encouragement to go into his crate, but once inside does wonderfully and sleeps soundly after arranging his bedding just the way he likes it—it’s his safe space. He’s perfectly content being muzzled when we’re away from the house and relaxes comfortably with the rest of the pack during that time. He has recently transitioned to sleeping through the night on a dog bed in the room with the rest of the pack. Bo also enjoys stretching out on cool, hard floors, and above all, he simply wants to be included, whether that means lying nearby while you work or joining you for a stroll.
He’s the kind of dog who follows you from room to room just to be close, then curls up contentedly once he knows you’re near. Gentle by nature, his sweetness comes effortlessly.
