I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Ace

I'm Available

Meet Ace! Ace is a charming 1 year-old greyhound X whippet mix who is not quite ready to find a loving forever home. Weighing in at 73 pounds, Ace is full of puppy energy and delight. He’s incredibly friendly, loves giving kisses, and will happily stand on his hind legs for a hug if you let him. Ace  is  gentle, playful, and never objects to having toys or treats taken away.  Ace frequently lays on his back and asks for belly rubs and a good rub is rewarded by squirmy happiness.  Ace loves affection and has become a big cuddler.  He loves toys of all sorts and when given a new squeaky toy he proudly carries it around and plays you a fanciful melody.

Ace has a lot of puppy brain that he will eventually grow out of.  In the mean time everything is a new and exciting temptation as he learns about his environment.  Ace is still learning about the world and needs someone who can dedicate time and patience to his training. He’s working on house manners, crate training, and leash skills, and like all puppies, he explores with his mouth and needs consistent, gentle correction. Ace really wants to please!  Ace’s foster family is helping him adjust to home life, introducing him to stairs, windows, alone time in his crate, and all the things a pet needs to know.

He gets along well with other pets and has learned to enjoy and accept crate time. Ace shows great promise to become an exceptional companion with the right guidance and love. If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic, and affectionate young dog to join your family, Ace could be the perfect match!
