Be involved with reviewing adoption applications, reviewing greyhound's medical history, contacting potential adopter's references and vet checks, doing home visits, and more.
Work with our website team on managing our website, or our social media volunteers to promote GPAH, help answer phone calls, there are a myriad of ways to help support our mission of finding greyhounds great homes from behind-the-scenes.
Volunteer to help with events that GPAH hosts. We are just getting back started with these, so could use help in this area.
Consider hosting a bake sale, organize a raffle . . . the options are endless. Contact us so we can help you get the resources you need to create an amazing event.
Our greyhounds come in from other countries on flights. Many times these flights land in the Dallas area. Our transporation volunteers travel to pick up new dogs or join someone on a trip to help with the dogs during travel. Our travel volunteers also drive our greyhounds around Houston from time to time, for meet ups, adoption events, to the vet, or to potential adopter's homes, etc.
