Houston, TX chapter
Support comes from
many sources. Support can manifest itself as donations of
cash, supplies, discounts for services, to walking or bathing a dog.
Groups such as GPA/Houston, could not exist without such support.
We could not take in, take care of, fix up, and find the loving
homes that we are driven to do, with out the generous support from
organizations such as those listed below.
We
encourage you to frequent the businesses and organizations listed below who offer various levels
of support to GPA/Houston.
Listed below are
some ways that you can
offer your support. Please remember that all donations are tax deductible.

You can be assured
that everyone including the shelter staff, the Board of Directors,
the GPA / Houston members, and especially the hundreds of hounds that pass
through our doors, appreciates your generosity. |
How can you help?

Foster a
dog during the holidays.

Drive a
dog to their vet appointment (even better--pick the dog up on
Saturday, take him to the vet, and bring him back the next Saturday
after a week of recovering in a loving home.

Wash a dog
at our
Bath
Brigades
-
Walk a dog. Call the
shelter, see when this type of help would be appreciated!

Volunteer to help at the
shelter in the adoption center (Fill out a
Volunteer
form.)
-
Sponsor one or more of
our
Special Needs
Hounds.

Volunteer to serve on
one of our many events committees, events@gpahouston.org

Donate stuffed toys,
[blankets, comforters (sized down to fit the kennels)] , chews (such as
Milk Bone, etc.) or other
needed
supplies.

Donate Food! -The
kennel uses Kirkland Chicken and Rice
purchased at Costco.
You can also donate a Costco card to GPA

Offer to help out at one
of our many
events, such as
helping to set up, clean up, etc. .

Offer your ideas
or
suggestions to better serve you and the rest of our greyhound family.
