About Us GPA Houston is a national non-profit organization dedicated to finding responsible homes for retired racing greyhounds by making the perfect match for both the pet and owner. We also aim to educate the public on what excellent, loving pets these noble dogs make. Each year, GPA Houston adopts over 200 greyhounds into loving families in and around the city of Houston. GPA Houston is one of the largest chapters associated with Greyhound Pets of America.Here are a few ways you can help us accomplish our mission:
Where does the money go GPA Houston is a 501(c) organization. Our funding is derived from adoptions, memberships, grants, auctions, and private donations. These funds are then used to support our mission of finding homes for retired racers and rehabilitating those with special needs.
