GPA/Houston
wants you to know our feelings and policy regarding the issue of Privacy. Please
read this important statement. |
 |
Your privacy is
very important to us. Greyhound Pets of America respects your concerns about
maintaining strict privacy. Any information that you divulge to us is kept in
confidence, and used only to help determine the suitability of a greyhound adoption by
your household. We also use various forms of the data for mailing information to you
about us, and also for fund raising efforts by our group. We do not provide this
information to anyone else unless you give us permission. We do not sell, rent, or
otherwise disclose mailing lists or other personally identifiable information to anyone
outside our organization.
On occasion we are asked by outside sources to provide names
of our adopters. However, we do not share such names or other identifying information
unless you specifically authorize us to do so. We also do not give information
regarding the kennel, trainer or owner of the greyhound being adopted unless the kennel,
trainer or owner has granted such permission.
Thank you for your continued support in our efforts for finding new homes for the
Retired Racing Greyhound.

Our Policy
Greyhound Pets of America -- Houston does not
discriminate in employment opportunities or practices, in its
programs or services, on the basis of race, color, religion, sex,
national origin, age, citizenship, sexual orientation, marital
status, veteran status, disability or any other ground prohibited by
law.
Bath Brigades
Held monthly at the
Pet Hotel for all of the Greyhounds in our care. We try to give our
dogs that are available for adoption just a little bit more
attention, by bathing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and checking for
fleas/ticks.
