Houston International Festival

When:The festival was held the weekends of April 17th and 18th and April 24th and 25th, (Saturday and Sunday), from 11AM to 8:PM. in Reliant Park-- Houston.

Organizers expect around 500,000 people to attend this year--YES, 1/2 million people....    Again we attend this event in the hopes of planting some seeds that will eventually develop into wonderful new homes for our retired racing greyhounds! Lots and lots of interested people stop by to visit our hounds.... Catherine managed the event again this year--With time given by a number of volunteers who helped to set up and monitor the booth. (See just a few volunteers in the pictures below...)  Some lucky hounds even got to wander through the crowds to get donations.
